Nokia announced 6260 Slide phone putting all its Series 40 peers to shame. The quad-band GSM/tri-band UMTS phone has a nice 2.4-inch display half VGA screen (320×480 pixels) with 16M colors support, 360o navi-key, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash. GPS also makes the cut making it the first S40 phone to support it.
Other features include fast HSDPA/HSUPA, Wi-Fi, FM Radio with RDS, music player, microSD card slot (up to 8GB), Ovi support, TV-Out, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 2.5mm AV connector.
The phone will start shipping from the beginning of next year at a price of EUR299 (USD388).
